Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as a dystopian sci-fi concept album, 'The Hypnogogue' proves the enduring creative stamina of the veteran Australian act. The narrative follows an aging rock star seeking a machine that extracts music from dreams, mirrored by the band's lush, hazy psychedelic rock arrangements. The record features intricate guitar interplay and Steve Kilbey's distinctive, world-weary baritone delivery.
