The second album from the London-based cosmic jazz trio, 'Trust in the Lifeforce of the Deep Mystery' is a powerful and cinematic journey. The music is a seamless fusion of spiritual jazz, psychedelic rock, and electronic music, creating a sound that is both futuristic and primal. Shabaka Hutchings's saxophone soars over a bed of pulsating synthesizer textures and powerful, driving drums, creating a sound that is both danceable and transportive. The album was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.
