Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the fifth installment in John Zorn's expansive 'Masada Book Two' series, the Polish ensemble provides stunningly rich interpretations of Zorn's avant-garde Jewish compositions. 'Balan' infuses traditional klezmer instrumentation with the urgent, complex structures of modern chamber jazz.
