Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Cracow Klezmer Band's 'The Warriors', issued on John Zorn's Tzadik label, recasts klezmer through chamber instrumentation and the compositional discipline of leader Jaros艂aw Bester's accordion writing. The group, later known as the Bester Quartet, treats the tradition as living material rather than repertory.
