Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by Chris Goss and Bob Rock, the veteran British act notably reconnects with their shamanic, heavily spiritual aesthetic on their ninth studio album. The production emphasizes Billy Duffy's roaring, blues-driven guitar heroics, providing a powerful backdrop for Ian Astbury's reinvigorated, impassioned vocal performances. It was widely regarded as a significant return to form, shedding the alternative rock experiments of their recent past.
