Album Notes & Community Reviews

As the title ominously suggests, this final album from the Denver outfit serves as a remarkably gorgeous swan song before John Grant embarked on his acclaimed solo career. It perfects their lush, string-laden slowcore sound, anchored entirely by Grant's commanding, deeply emotional baritone.
