Album Notes & Community Reviews
Anchored by John Grant's extraordinarily rich baritone, 'The Ugly People...' is a masterpiece of lush, cinematic despair. The ensemble utilizes elegant string arrangements and funereal tempos to construct an overwhelmingly sad, beautiful, and deeply melancholic listening experience.
