Album Notes & Community Reviews

Comprised entirely of obscure, raw covers spanning 1960s soul, girl groups, and rhythm and blues, the Michigan group's debut is a vital spark in the impending garage-rock revival. Rachel Nagy's sultry, booming vocals and the band's scrappy, unpolished delivery breathe infectious punk-rock life into the forgotten vintage standards.
