Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second and final album produced by the surviving trio following the death of Jim Morrison saw them delving further into jazz-inflected grooves and Latin rhythms. Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger share vocal duties across a set of loose, funk-tinged blues rock and playful pop structures, heavily utilizing session bassists and vocal choirs. The LP struggled both commercially and critically, ultimately leading to the band's dissolution.
