Album Notes & Community Reviews

For their final studio album before an extended hiatus, the virtuoso instrumental group shortened their moniker from the Dixie Dregs and notably introduced vocal tracks for the very first time. Featuring prominent guest appearances by Doobie Brothers vocalist Patrick Simmons and Yes's Jon Anderson, the material leans toward a highly polished, commercial rock sound while retaining their signature complex interplay. It earned them their fourth consecutive Grammy nomination for Best Rock Instrumental Performance.
