Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Dubliners' debut 'A Drop of the Hard Stuff' spotlighted their raw, unpolished interpretations of Irish folk music. Known as 'Seven Drunken Nights' in subsequent reissues after the lead single was banned by RT脡, the album was integral to the Irish folk revival. The group's boisterous delivery infused traditional pub songs with newfound rebellious energy.
