Album Notes & Community Reviews

A pioneering force in West Coast hip-hop, Greg Broussard heavily utilized the Roland TR-808 drum machine to craft this cornerstone of the electro genre. The record blends robotic, Kraftwerk-inspired sequencing with funk sensibilities and deep, boastful vocal deliveries. It laid the rhythmic groundwork for future Miami bass and techno scenes.
