Formed by Fugazi frontman Ian MacKaye and The Warmers' Amy Farina, the duo's debut strips punk ideology down to its barest acoustic elements. Utilizing only a baritone guitar and a minimal drum kit, the interwoven vocal harmonies deliver sharp socio-political critique wrapped in surprisingly quiet, melodic indie rock.
