Biography
The Evens is a Washington, D.C. duo of Ian MacKaye, formerly of *Minor Threat* and *Fugazi*, on baritone guitar and vocals, and Amy Farina, formerly of *The Warmers*, on drums and vocals. Formed in 2001 and recording for MacKaye's #Dischord Records#, the pair traded hardcore volume for a spare, melodic post-hardcore sound on 'The Evens' in 2005 and 'Get Evens' in 2006. They returned after a family break with 'The Odds' in 2012, the most forceful of their three albums.
