Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring Fugazi frontman Ian MacKaye on baritone guitar and Amy Farina on drums, the Washington D.C. duo's third album continues their pursuit of aggressive acoustic rock. Despite the minimal instrumentation and relatively quiet volume, the songwriting remains fiercely political and incredibly tense. It is a masterclass in rhythmic interplay and restrained urgency, heavily reflecting the independent ethos of their legendary record label.
