Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reigning in the chaotic experimentalism of their 2010s output, the Oklahoma veterans return to the lush, orchestral melodies that defined their commercial peak. Wayne Coyne conceptualized the record around childhood memories, the ravages of drug addiction in middle America, and a fictional narrative involving Tom Petty. It was widely hailed as a beautiful, devastating return to form.
