Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Flaming Lips' sophomore album is a sprawling, wildly chaotic expansion of their acid-soaked garage rock roots. The record leans heavily into dense, noisy neo-psychedelia, featuring Wayne Coyne's eccentric, anxious vocals and drawn-out, feedback-heavy guitar jams. It is a deeply surreal, playful, and abrasive stepping stone toward their later alternative rock masterpieces.
