Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Terror' is arguably the bleakest and most oppressive album in The Flaming Lips' catalog, a stark contrast to their colorful, confetti-filled image. Born from personal crises and a darker worldview, the album features repetitive krautrock rhythms, dissonant synths, and Wayne Coyne's fragile vocals. It is a brave, uncompromising exploration of anxiety and the absence of love.
