Album Notes & Community Reviews

Releasing their second full-length album of the year, the veteran Canadian rockers continued to showcase their immense versatility, leaning heavily into boogie-rock, country-tinged pop, and sophisticated piano ballads. While Burton Cummings' dynamic vocal delivery and the band's tight instrumentation remain impeccable, the highly eclectic, slightly fragmented nature of the tracklist struggled to yield a definitive hit single. The record represents a highly capable, yet commercially fading, chapter of their mid-70s output.
