Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length by Boston band The Hope Conspiracy, 'Cold Blue' was recorded in a single week in July 2000 with producer Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studios in Norwood and The Outpost in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Ten tracks in just over twenty-two minutes set Kevin Baker's poetic, screamed lyrics against up-tempo hardcore punk riffing, breakdowns and thrash-influenced metallic segments.
