Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the colossal global success of 'Dare', the Sheffield outfit struggled with intense pressure and shifting commercial expectations during the lengthy recording sessions for this follow-up. The album introduces more organic instrumentation, including funk-influenced guitar work, alongside their signature synthesizer arrangements. While containing hits like 'The Lebanon', the record's political overtones and slightly darker mood polarized critics and fans alike.
