Album Notes & Community Reviews

Spanning an expansive double LP format, 'Winner Takes All' perfectly balances aggressive, guitar-driven funk anthems with sensuous, slow-burning soul ballads. Ernie Isley's blistering, Hendrix-inspired leads cut through the immaculately produced, disco-tinged rhythms. It confirms the legendary family group's absolute mastery of the late-seventies R&B landscape and their enduring crossover appeal.
