Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rushed into production to capitalize on the explosive success of their debut, The Jam's sophomore album retains their signature razor-sharp, R&B-inflected punk rock edge. 'This Is the Modern World' is a fiercely energetic, highly melodic continuation of the Mod Revival, heavily featuring Paul Weller's passionate, rebellious examinations of intense urban alienation.
