Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured during a period of transition for the legendary collective, this session features a lineup anchored by Art Blakey's signature polyrhythmic drive. The set highlights extended, blues-inflected solos and hard-swinging ensemble interactions that epitomize the aggressive East Coast aesthetic.
