Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing the mesmerizing, deeply interlocked vocal harmonies of the identical twin sisters, this LP is a fiery masterpiece of the Nigerian funk scene. Backed by highly rhythmic, psychedelic instrumentation, the group seamlessly infuses American soul with indigenous Yoruba rhythms and subtle reggae influences. The album's socially conscious lyrics effectively communicate their perspective on political turmoil and cultural identity.
