Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Lijadu Sisters expanded their distinctive Nigerian sound on 'Mother Africa', blending traditional J霉j煤 music with elements of Afro-rock and Waka. The album features deeply hypnotic rhythms, warm vocal harmonies, and uplifting spiritual themes. It remains a profoundly important and soothing artifact of 1970s West African popular music.
