Album Notes & Community Reviews

John Lurie's long-running avant-jazz ensemble delivers a remarkably dense, rhythmically intricate studio swan song. Intertwining complex African grooves, sharp downtown-New York dissonance, and deeply cinematic horn arrangements, the record showcases the group at the peak of their sophisticated, highly unconventional compositional power.
