Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Voice of Chunk' presents a synthesis of avant-garde jazz and structured post-minimalism from the John Lurie-led ensemble The Lounge Lizards. The album emphasizes complex, intertwining horn arrangements and rhythmic agility, marking a departure from the group's earlier 'fake jazz' aesthetic toward more sophisticated, genre-bending compositions.
