Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the sole studio LP for the pioneering Australian R&B outfit, 'Magic Box' collects their fierce, heavily rhythmic early singles alongside new material. Gerry Humphrys' distinctive, booming baritone vocals cut through jagged guitar and electric piano interplay, creating a uniquely aggressive take on the British Invasion sound. The collection stands as a towering artifact of mid-60s antipodean garage rock and blues.
