De-Loused in the Comatorium cover art

'De-Loused in the Comatorium' is a dense concept album that narrates a story of a drug-induced coma through a volatile fusion of progressive rock, post-hardcore, and Latin jazz. Co-produced by Rick Rubin and guitarist Omar RodrĂguez-LĂłpez, the record is defined by frenetic, dissonant guitar work, cryptic vocals, and an intricate rhythm section featuring Flea on bass. The critically acclaimed debut established the band's signature sound and is the only studio recording with founding sound artist Jeremy Ward, who passed away a month before its release.
