Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recording live to tape in Brooklyn, The Men abandon their recent acoustic Americana detours for pure, unfiltered proto-punk energy. 'New York City' celebrates the grit and velocity of their hometown's classic 1970s garage rock history, driven by relentless drum beats and fiery, distorted guitar interplay. The record is a raucous, wonderfully straightforward return to form for the highly versatile outfit.
