'Pay Attention' was The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' final album for Mercury and the last with founding guitarist Nate Albert, who left to attend Brown University, and trombonist Dennis Brockenborough, a work of pop punk and ska punk. Horn-led rhythmic figures, gang vocals and melodic guitar drive define its energetic structures, introduced by the single 'So Sad to Say'.
