Album Notes & Community Reviews

One of the most celebrated and refined ensembles in jazz history intricately weaves the classical counterpoint of Johann Sebastian Bach with swinging, acoustic hard bop. The album demonstrates their peerless mastery of the Third Stream aesthetic, alternating between Bach transcriptions and original blues compositions.
