Album Notes & Community Reviews

Frank Zappa significantly pivoted toward a more accessible, heavily vocal-driven format, achieving his first gold record status. 'Over-Nite Sensation' is a wonderfully quirky, intensely playful comedy-rock triumph, matching brilliantly sarcastic, highly sexual lyrical satire with remarkably complex, fiercely technical jazz-funk and progressive rock instrumentation.
