Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Muffs' third full-length album continues their tradition of crafting raw, emotional, and exceptionally catchy rock and roll. On 'Happy Birthday to Me,' the band's power pop sensibilities are balanced with a slightly darker and more introspective tone than their previous work. Kim Shattuck's songwriting remains as sharp and incisive as ever, dissecting relationships and personal frustrations with her signature blend of anger and vulnerability.
