Album Notes & Community Reviews

Julian Koster of Neutral Milk Hotel fame returns with a surreal, wonderfully eccentric collection of tape-manipulated Appalachian folk and vaudeville. Featuring a wildly unorthodox array of instrumentation, including a singing saw, the record exudes a deeply nostalgic, lo-fi, and wintery atmosphere.
