Album Notes & Community Reviews
The National establishes their signature sound of elegant, brooding indie rock on 'Boxer'. Matt Berninger's lyrics about white-collar anxiety and urban romance are backed by Bryan Devendorf's propulsive drumming. It is a classy, nocturnal record about adulthood.
