Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Trouble Will Find Me' finds The National at their most refined and accessible, perfecting their brand of melancholic indie rock. Matt Berninger's baritone vocals and witty, introspective lyrics float over lush, intricate arrangements featuring complex drumming by Bryan Devendorf. It is a mature, cohesive album about anxiety and adulthood that cemented their status as stadium-filling sad dads.
