Album Notes & Community Reviews
The sixteenth studio album from the legendary Australian improvisational trio consists of a single, mesmerizing 67-minute composition. Uncharacteristically expanding beyond their traditional piano, bass, and drums setup, the group meticulously overdubbed Hammond organs, synthesizers, and percussion layers to create a dense, cinematic swell. The record masterfully balances minimalist repetition with a slowly building, suffocating sense of tension.
