Album Notes & Community Reviews
Signaling a major evolutionary leap from their punk and metal origins, the German group fully integrated jazz instrumentation, glitchy electronics, and subtle string arrangements. The resulting album is a deeply melancholic, futuristic masterpiece that heavily bridged the gap between post-rock dynamics and emerging electronic pop sensibilities.
