Following a seven-year gap between major releases, the veteran German ensemble returned with an incredibly dense, globally minded indie-electronic record. The album functions as a continuous, hazy mix incorporating sprawling krautrock grooves, glitchy synthesizers, and numerous international guest vocalists singing in Japanese, Spanish, and English. It served to re-establish the group as masterful architects of warm, highly detailed indietronica.
