Album Notes & Community Reviews

This album marks the collaboration between ambient house pioneers The Orb and the Cologne-based minimal techno label Kompakt. The result is a fusion of both entities' signature sounds: The Orb's playful, dub-influenced psychedelia is grounded by Kompakt's tight, looping 4/4 rhythms. It's a quirky and hypnotic record that successfully bridges two different eras and aesthetics of electronic music.
