Album Notes & Community Reviews

Championing the 1980s Medway garage rock scene, the British quartet unleashed an incredibly raw, Hammond organ-driven sophomore effort. 'TheWiserMiserDemelza' marries the aggressive sneer of the mod revival with the fuzzy, psychedelic energy of 1960s beat music. The album stands as a highly influential cult classic that directly inspired the subsequent Madchester and Britpop movements.
