The Prisoners was an English garage rock band from Chatham, Kent, formed in 1982 with Graham Day on guitar and vocals, James Taylor on organ, Allan Crockford on bass and Johnny Symons on drums. A fixture of the Medway scene, the band mixed 1960s melodies and punk riffs across 'A Taste of Pink' (1982), 'The Wisermiserdemelza' (1983), 'The Last Fourfathers' (1985) and 'In From the Cold' (1986), then split, reforming only for occasional live shows and a 1997 single.
