Jigsaw

Album Notes & Community Reviews

As the instrumental rock dominance of the early 1960s waned, legendary British backing group The Shadows attempted to adapt by incorporating psychedelic textures and vocal tracks into their repertoire. 'Jigsaw' finds the group experimenting with fuzz guitars, unconventional song structures, and contemporary pop arrangements while retaining their foundational clean guitar tone. The release captures a veteran outfit navigating the radical cultural shifts of 1967 British music.
