Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released a year after the band's acrimonious split, 'Rank' is a powerful posthumous document of The Smiths at the peak of their live powers. Recorded in London during 'The Queen Is Dead' tour in 1986, the album captures a more muscular, energetic, and aggressive side of the band. It's an essential release that showcases the incredible chemistry and power of one of the most important bands of all time.
