Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drew Daniel, one half of the experimental duo Matmos, utilizes his side project to deeply subvert the conventions of underground dance music. Constructing incredibly intricate, glitch-heavy house beats out of bizarre, microscopic sound sources, he maintains a distinctly queer, highly playful club atmosphere. The result is a brilliantly strange and deeply conceptual take on functional electronic music.
