Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving an astonishing forty-nine years after their previous studio album, the legendary Pacific Northwest pioneers deliver a blisteringly loud, defiant return to form. Recorded in glorious mono, 'This Is the Sonics' perfectly recaptures the raw, aggressive energy of their 1960s prime. The album bristles with driving rhythm-and-blues riffs, screaming saxophone, and unfiltered garage rock power.
