Album Notes & Community Reviews

A twelve-track remix compilation drawn from recordings made between 1988 and 1998, 'The Remixes' reworks Stone Roses material through the defining producers of Madchester's alternative dance and baggy culture. Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne, A Guy Called Gerald, 808 State and Utah Saints recast the band's neo-psychedelic guitar pop as club material, documenting the point where indie rock and rave converged.
