Following the unexpected global impact of their debut, the eccentric Icelandic collective delivered a denser, noticeably more chaotic sophomore album. The record features an increased vocal presence from Einar 脰rn Benediktsson, whose bizarre, manic spoken-word interjections often spar wildly with Bj枚rk's soaring, elastic melodies. Accompanied by a sprawling horn section, the music is a highly polarizing, fiercely avant-garde spin on alternative pop.
